It was a wonderful day of travel today. We got on the road around 9 and had a much shorter drive today....no wind....pretty straight roads ...well mostly
When we crossed into New Mexico we changed to Mountain time so there went our plans to be at our campsite at 1 p.m. but 2 wasn't too bad...
We are back at a RV Park that we stayed at 5 years ago and they are wonderful people and a great campground and best of all we only paid $18 Took the opportunity today to go to one of our favorite restaurants Cracker Barrell for dinner ...a nice treat ...and stopped for gas at a Flying J where gas is $2.14/gallon ....Yooohoooo!!!! Just a really nice way to end the day. There are some vintage trailers at this campground ...
A long day tomorrow ...to Amarillo Texas ....where Phil will FINALLY be able to put the Texas sticker on our Map ....Pictures to follow :) lol
